Thursday, 4th June, 4-4.30pmpresented by Julie Hughes, Chief Executive Officer of The Elizabeth Foundation, a charity supporting pre-school deaf children. This presentation introduces Let’s Listen and Talk (LL&T), an innovative, flexible, and evidence-based online resource that connects family-centred early intervention with home-based learning. It integrates early communication development with interactive activities, tailored resources, and professional guidance to foster strong communication skills for deaf children from infancy through preschool. Wednesday, 15th July, 1-1.30pm – a presentation from Jen Royds, Trustee and co-founder of Glue Ear Together, a charity that provides parents and professionals with information about glue ear. Jen fulfilled the vital role of parental voice on the National Institute of Care Excellence committee to review the latest guidelines on otitis media with effusion in under 12s. Glue Ear Together is a UK-based charity and informational website dedicated to educating parents, carers and early years practitioners about glue ear.
