Audiology in a Diverse World conference

We were pleased to sponsor the Manchester Centre for Audiology and Deafness (ManCAD)’s Clinical Audiology Papers (CAPers) conference at the Contact in Manchester this September. Over 100 researchers, audiologists and technologists gathered to discuss the different aspects of audiology in a diverse world.

The conference focused on the sector today: ‘Audiology can’t afford to take a one-size-fits-all approach from different ages and cultures to languages and lived experiences, understanding what shapes hearing needs is key to delivering truly inclusive, person-centred care that makes a real difference.’

The conference showcased the latest research driving this shift, alongside critical discussions on clinical needs and the growing evidence for personalised approaches to auditory rehabilitation. ‘The conference was brilliant,’ said our Audiologist, James. ‘We look forward to CAPers 2028!’
