The event provided a valuable opportunity to learn about the new Mandatory Qualification for trainee Teachers of Deaf Children and Young People (ToDs). The day included presentations on pragmatic language and Theory of Mind, effective collaboration, and supporting students on teacher placements.
The event also provided us with the chance to talk about the Con Powell Memorial Scholarships, a scheme for trainee ToDs funded by our partner Ovingdean Hall Foundation, with mentorship provided by the Ewing Foundation team.
