EwingIt is with great sadness that we have learned of the death of our dear friend Paul Simpson, the National Executive Officer of the British Association of Teachers of Deaf Children and Young People (BATOD).
Paul was a great advocate and ambassador for the Ewing Foundation and our sister charities, Ovingdean Hall Foundation and Burwood Park Foundation. He was instrumental in developing Ovingdean Hall Foundation’s Con Powell Memorial Scholarships, a programme that has seen almost 50 teachers become Qualified Teachers of the Deaf.
Paul was a generous and kind man who will be greatly missed by all his friends here at the Ewing Foundation and our sister charities. Our thoughts are with his family.
