Scholarships for trainee Teachers of Deaf Children and Young People

Would you like to help deaf children and young people to learn and achieve at school?

If so, the British Association of Teachers of Deaf Children and Young People (BATOD) is offering five scholarships for teachers to train to become Qualified Teachers of Deaf Children and Young People (QToDs).

The Con Powell Memorial Scholarships, named after BATOD’s first President and Ewing Foundation’s first Chief Executive Officer, are aimed at teachers whose Local Authority or school is not obliged to support them financially. Scholars will also be supported in their studies by our Ewing Foundation team of audiology and deaf education specialists.

The scholarships, which are funded by our partner Ovingdean Hall Foundation, are open until 5th April 2024.
