EwingMonday 2 May – Sunday 8 May 2022 marks Deaf Awareness Week, the UK Council on Deafness’s annual campaign to highlight the experiences of deaf people.
If you are an education professional working with deaf children and young people, we have a range of free resources to support you during Deaf Awareness Week and throughout the year.
These include test box demonstrations, listening assessment resources and a variety of sound files such as compressed babble, filtered speech and examples of wireless microphones being used in different acoustic settings. We are also delighted to share articles written by our Trustee Ted Moore for the BATOD (British Association of Teachers of the Deaf) magazine.
